Job Responsibilities

As a primary school teacher, your duties include planning and delivering instruction, as well as assessing students' acquired knowledge. You evaluate and develop pedagogical work based on the school's governing documents and the students' needs and interests, both individually and in collaboration with the teaching team. You conduct modern and creative teaching, finding strategies to reach every student and strengthen them in both knowledge development and personal growth. You collaborate with other school staff to ensure a good learning and working environment for both students and staff, and you actively participate in the school's development work. Mentoring is part of the role. We are now looking for a teacher for grades F-3 (Preschool Class to Grade 3) for Annebergsskolan!

You will be part of a team of teachers where you jointly plan and are responsible for the students' education and development. You create the best conditions for each student in a safe and reliable environment where the main focus is teaching students to read, write, and calculate. The role includes planning and delivering instruction, as well as assessing students' acquired knowledge. You evaluate and develop pedagogical work based on the school's governing documents and the students' needs and interests, both individually and in collaboration with the team. We expect you to conduct modern and creative teaching and find strategies to reach every student and strengthen them in both knowledge development and personal growth.

Qualifications

You are a certified teacher with eligibility to teach grades F-3. Previous experience as a teacher is considered an asset. You have a good understanding of and knowledge about the school's governing documents and can use them effectively in your daily work. Furthermore, you have strong didactic and pedagogical skills, allowing you to lead and organize your work to create a calm study environment and a good learning atmosphere for our students throughout their school day.

Based on evidence-based research, you can develop your work and, with good knowledge and practice, work effectively with relevant digital tools. Naturally, you have a professional attitude and work towards building good relationships with our students, their guardians, and all your colleagues at the school.
