Elinebergsskolan is a school for everyone, and everyone should succeed! We have approximately 950 students from preschool class to grade 9, and we have hearing-integrated classes in almost all grades, as well as a special needs school (adapted comprehensive school) for students up to grade 9.

We believe that our differences lead to enriching encounters, and we have many different meeting places at the school. Here, we work together across age groups and school forms. We believe in collegial learning, so we plan and assess jointly. In grades 7-9, we work in flexible groups.

The learning environment should stimulate creativity and curiosity in students but also be a place for calm and quiet. Digital tools create opportunities to adapt teaching to different learning styles and bring forth creative teaching methods. Job Responsibilities

Now you have the chance to become part of Elinebergsskolan as we are looking for a craft teacher in textile crafts, working with grades 3 to 9 as well as the adapted comprehensive school. You provide students with basic skills and prerequisites to develop ideas, consider different solutions, manufacture objects, and evaluate results. You make a difference for our students by believing in their abilities and encouraging creativity and curiosity. You show and make it clear to each student that they can succeed, big or small, throughout the day!

You will work, plan jointly, and assess jointly together with experienced colleagues with the same subject combination. Together, we create the best possible conditions for students' learning and success.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• are a certified teacher with eligibility in textile crafts,
• have experience teaching the subject for both grades 3-9 and the adapted comprehensive school,
• have a clear and conscious leadership style that creates security in the classroom,
• are driven by seeing students succeed and develop,
• have good collaboration skills and want to contribute to the school's development together with colleagues and management,
• see collegial learning, joint planning, and joint assessment as a natural part of the profession.

• strong integrity and high social competence,
• curiosity, humor, and the ability to be open and authentic,
• visions and ideas that promote creative and inclusive learning environments.
