About Förslövs School

Förslövs School is a F-9 school (preschool class to grade 9) with just over 530 students. We have 75 employees distributed across 5 work teams. We work based on "The whole child – the whole way," where we jointly take responsibility for both the social and academic development of our students. The foundation is a permissive and stimulating study environment where we strive to give every student the best possible schooling. We focus on relational pedagogy, with student safety and participation as key components. Within our workforce, we have a high density of certified teachers and a shared drive to continue developing our school.

Job Description

Förslövs School's vision is: We awaken curiosity and a desire to learn through high-quality teaching in a warm and safe environment where every student develops according to their prerequisites and feels pride in Förslövs School.

The number of students at the school is increasing, and therefore we are expanding with one additional position in Math/Science (Ma/NO). We are looking for an enthusiastic teacher who wants to make a difference for our students. The position involves working in the school's support organization, in close collaboration with colleagues and student health services.

Your responsibilities:

• Planning, implementation, and follow-up of teaching in mathematics and natural sciences, working based on steering documents and students' different needs.
• Close collaboration with colleagues in the work team.
• Mentorship duties, including responsibility for students' social and academic development as well as contact with guardians.

We are looking for you who want to contribute to a positive learning environment where students feel safe, motivated, and have the opportunity to succeed.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with eligibility in several natural science subjects as well as mathematics. You have good didactic skills, work in a structured manner, and use follow-up and analysis to develop teaching and strengthen student results.

You are a clear team player who:

• Builds trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
• Collaborates well in work teams and cross-professional contexts.
• Has the ability to adapt teaching based on students' different needs.
• Sees the value of an inclusive and solution-focused approach.

It is meritorious if you have experience of:

• Working in a support organization or with special support.
• Collegial learning and school development.
• Assignments with pedagogical development responsibility.

Employment Terms

Type of employment: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent.
