Videdalsskolan – a school in miniature Malmö! We are located in the Husie district, in the middle of a residential area with walking distance to the Bulltofta recreation area and close to nice playgrounds. We are developing our after-school activities and are now looking for 1–2 primary school teachers in the after-school center with a focus on music and visual arts. You will join one of our after-school work teams for grades F-6. As a primary school teacher in the after-school center, you will plan and conduct teaching within your subject area, as well as after-school activities, often integrated with schoolwork. Based on the curriculum and governing documents, we create a safe environment together that strengthens students' knowledge and personal development, while also providing them with a meaningful after-school experience. During the school day, you will teach one or more subjects you are qualified to teach. You may also collaborate in a class, preferably the same class you are responsible for in the after-school center. The lower and middle school stages, as well as the after-school centers, have access to a full-size gymnasium, music room, home economics room, and craft rooms, creating conditions for stimulating and creative activities.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed primary school teacher in the after-school center. Previous experience in the profession is meritorious. You have good insight into the school's governing documents and can apply them in your daily work. Furthermore, you have good didactic and pedagogical skills to independently lead and organize your work to create a calm study environment and a creative learning and play environment.

To fit as a primary school teacher in the after-school center with us, it is important that you have ideas and visions about how children thrive, feel well, and experience safety, and that you can contribute to creating this environment. You are willing to teach in preschool class to grade 6 in the subjects you are qualified to teach.
