Videdalsskolan – a miniature version of Malmö! The school is located in the Husie district, right in the middle of a residential area with walking distance to the Bulltofta recreation area and close to beautiful playgrounds. We are a grades F-9 school with an associated after-school center, adapted primary school, and vision services, where all children enrich our school. This breadth creates a development organization where diversity is our strength. We work extensively with safety, respect, and trust-based relationships, and we have a clear focus on the quality of teaching and the after-school center.

We are looking for a substitute primary school teacher in the after-school center with a specialization in Home and Consumer Studies. You will join our after-school team for grades 4–6 and teach Home and Consumer Studies in grade 6 as well as in the adapted primary school. As a primary school teacher in the after-school center, you will plan and carry out teaching in your subject and organize after-school activities, often as part of schoolwork. Based on the curriculum and steering documents, we create a safe environment together that aims to strengthen our students' knowledge development as well as their personal development, while giving the children a meaningful leisure time. During the school day, you conduct teaching in Home and Consumer Studies, primarily on two full days. You may also collaborate in a classroom, specifically the same class you are responsible for at the after-school center. You have access to a Home Economics classroom for your teaching.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified primary school teacher in the after-school center with a specialization in Home and Consumer Studies. Previous experience in the profession is meritorious. You have good insight into and knowledge of the school's steering documents and can apply them in your daily work. Furthermore, you have good didactic and pedagogical skills that allow you to independently lead and organize your work to create a quiet study environment and a creative learning and play environment. To fit as a primary school teacher in the after-school center with us, it is important that you have ideas and visions regarding how children thrive, feel well, and experience safety, and that you can help create this after-school environment. You are willing to teach Home and Consumer Studies in grade 6 as well as groups in the adapted primary school.
