Job Description
We are now looking for additional support for Rosengårdsskolan and our students in grade 4. At the school, we work in teams consisting of engaged and knowledgeable staff who look forward to your participation in the planning and implementation of pedagogical work with the students. Your main tasks are planning, teaching, and follow-up in your subjects, as well as resource time based on the needs of the student group. The team is led by a lead teacher who also teaches. In your teaching role with us, you work systematically to plan, implement, and evaluate your teaching.
This, together with the ongoing assessment of your students' acquired knowledge, forms the basis for your continued planning. The planning of teaching takes place mainly together with your colleagues in the team and to some extent individually. Your teaching is modern and creative and aims to reach and find strategies to strengthen your students, both academically and in their personal development. Furthermore, you actively participate in the school's ongoing development work together with your team. In the development work, we all work together to establish and maintain a good learning and working environment for students and staff at our school.
Qualifications
You who apply are a certified teacher with eligibility for teaching in grades 4-6. You have several years of experience in successful teaching in your subjects. Eligibility in science subjects (NO) and technology in grades 4-6 is a requirement. We would like you to be eligible in more subjects, and eligibility in Swedish as a Second Language (SvA) and/or English is an advantage. You must have very good knowledge of the Swedish language and be able to express yourself correctly in both speech and writing. The school's teaching is permeated by a language-developing approach. We are looking for an engaged and confident classroom leader who creates an inclusive and motivating learning environment.
You have the ability to build good relationships with students and colleagues, as well as to lead teaching with clarity and structure. Especially important is your ability to meet and create trust among students who may have challenging behaviors. Through your leadership, you create study peace, awaken curiosity, and promote students' development and learning. You have good insight into and knowledge of the school's steering documents and can use them effectively in your daily work. Furthermore, you have good didactic and pedagogical skills and can therefore lead and organize your work independently. Based on evidence-based research, you can develop your work. You find it easy to work in teams and have a flexible, non-hierarchical, and solution-focused approach. You see the value in learning from and with others.
