Job Description
Are you an engaged and qualified primary school teacher who wants to help shape the global citizens of the future? At Klagshamnsskolan, we are looking for a new colleague for our after-school program (fritidshem) for Year 1. We offer an stimulating work environment where you have the opportunity to contribute to the school's learning and development. As a primary school teacher for the after-school program, you are responsible for planning, teaching, and assessment in the after-school setting, creating an stimulating pedagogical after-school activity based on the curriculum and other regulatory documents.
As a primary school teacher for the after-school program, you are responsible for promoting the student's development and learning, finding strategies to reach every student, and strengthening them in both knowledge development and personal growth. The primary school teacher for the after-school program should offer students a meaningful leisure time during breaks and after school, promoting diverse contacts, social community, and strengthening group relations. During school hours, the primary school teacher for the after-school program collaborates with the school. The role may include teaching in one or more subjects in the school.
Qualifications
You are a licensed primary school teacher for the after-school program. Experience working as a teacher in the after-school program is meritorious. It is also meritorious if you have the qualifications and experience of teaching in a practical subject in school. If you have education in NPF (Neurodevelopmental Disorders), outdoor pedagogy, and/or sports and movement, we also see this as meritorious. Furthermore, experience working with students in need of special support is meritorious.
You naturally have good insight and knowledge of the school's regulatory documents as well as the ability to translate and apply this knowledge in daily work. You have good knowledge of didactics and pedagogy. You can lead and organize the work to create study peace and a good learning environment throughout the day. You have the ability to develop your work based on evidence-based research together with other primary school teachers, student assistants, and teachers in the work team.

About the Workplace
At Klagshamnsskolan, students go from preschool class to Year 9. We have two school buildings: the Klagshamn building for preschool class and Year 1, and the Strand building for Year 2 to 9. We also have after-school activities for Years 4 to 6 in the People's House premises. The school has approximately 800 students and nearly 90 staff members. The management team consists of the principal, two deputy principals, and an administrative director/deputy principal. The development work for the school year focuses on "Joy to Learn," an initiative we have identified together across the entire school. To create quality and equity, we allocate joint time for joint planning and assessment within work teams. We are a school with much joy and a stable workforce that supports each other.
