Olympiaskolan has approximately 425 students this autumn and is located in central Helsingborg. The school offers the following upper secondary programs: Child and Youth Studies (Barn- och fritidsprogrammet), Social Sciences (Samhällsvetenskapsprogrammet), Humanities (Humanistiska programmet), Natural Sciences (Naturvetenskapliga programmet), and the Introductory Program (Introduktionsprogrammet). At Olympiaskolan, we work purposefully to create a sense of community where everyone feels a great sense of responsibility for the operations. There is a natural and well-functioning collaboration among everyone at the school, all to ensure our students achieve their goals.

Responsibilities

At Olympiaskolan, you will have the opportunity to educate our students in Chemistry and another subject you are qualified to teach, together with experienced and competent colleagues. You will teach in the Natural Sciences and Work (NA), Child and Youth Studies (BF), and Individual Program (IM) tracks. You will meet our wonderful students every day, and through your engagement, inspire them to achieve good academic results. Together with us, you will create environments that promote students' learning and development, and you will actively participate in the school's development work. You will become part of the school's whole and collaborate with students, guardians, teachers, school management, and other school staff. In addition, you will have duties such as mentoring, similar to other teachers at the school.

Qualifications

You have upper secondary qualification in Chemistry and another natural science subject. Previous experience teaching in NA, IM, and BF is meritorious. As a person, you are responsible, social, and flexible. You are interested in contributing to the development of pedagogical activities with a focus on teaching and student learning. You are knowledgeable in your subjects. You have good pedagogical skills and are easy to collaborate with. You create a conducive study environment through, among other things, a relational approach. You are skilled at creating and maintaining good relationships with students and staff at the school. In the role of a teacher, you need to be meticulous and capable of taking overall responsibility. Personal suitability is of great importance.
