Job Description
As a teacher, you work to help students develop their full potential – both academically and socially. You support, motivate, and stimulate each student to meet the knowledge requirements based on their individual prerequisites. Your duties include planning, teaching, and assessment, as well as evaluating and developing the pedagogical activities in accordance with the school's governing documents.
We are a learning organization that promotes knowledge exchange, where you find yourself in an environment characterized by collegial learning and development. Together with colleagues, you work to create a good learning and working environment for both students and staff. You also contribute to the quality and development work at the school.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Teaching certification
- Eligibility to teach Swedish, Swedish as a Second Language, English, or Mathematics in combination with Music, Visual Arts, Social Studies, Religion, Geography, History, Technology, or Biology at the lower secondary (grades 7-9) and upper secondary school level
- Experience teaching in upper secondary introductory programs or special education groups in lower secondary school (grades 7-9)
- Proficiency in using digital tools for communication and pedagogy
- Good understanding of the school's goals and governing documents
- Very good command of Swedish, both spoken and written.

We are looking for someone who is confident in the teaching role and creates good conditions for students' learning and development. You adapt teaching to the prerequisites and prior knowledge of the student and the group through a creative approach and very strong pedagogical skills.
Your working style is characterized by good structure, and you prioritize and organize tasks efficiently. Furthermore, you contribute to good collaborations and communicate openly, clearly, and listen attentively to your surroundings. You also understand how students' background, culture, and group affiliation affect learning, and you create an inclusive learning environment where all students have the opportunity to succeed.
