Everöd School is a grades F-6 school that includes primary school, after-school activities, and special education groups. It is located in the heart of Everöd with nature as your closest neighbor. Nature is close at hand in the form of forests, meadows, and waterways—something we gladly use in our teaching. Everöd School has approximately 100 students enrolled in grades F-6. It is the small school where everyone knows everyone, which provides a great sense of security.

Vittskövle School is a small village school with approximately 38 students in grades F-3 and an after-school department. This fosters a wonderful sense of community and opportunities for learning even after the school day ends. The school is located right in the village, just next to the church. We have a lovely schoolyard that invites play. With a team of five employees, we work in a school where knowledge and well-being are at the center.

Your role with us

The position includes teaching in grades F-6. The work is located at both Everöd School and Vittskövle School, with placement at Everöd four days per week and Vittskövle one day per week. One of the four days at Everöd School, you will teach in a special education group.

As a teacher with us, you stimulate students to learn and take personal responsibility. With commitment and enthusiasm, you create a safe learning environment based on mutual respect and cooperation, through good leadership both in and outside the classroom.

The teaching is designed based on the goals of the curriculum, where planning, preparation, implementation, and evaluation are important pillars. You have positive and high expectations for the students and adapt the teaching to the level of all students, with a focus on the student's best interests.

Through dialogue, you build good relationships characterized by mutual respect and a trust-based approach. In your role, you stay up to date with events in the outside world and the daily lives of young people. Alternative learning tools and documentation are a natural part of your work. You systematically reflect on practical work and, together with colleagues, drive development work in the work group/school. You also share responsibility for your own and the group's planning and further development.

If you are new as a teacher, you are supported by a mentor for the best guidance in the work. If you are an unqualified teacher, you may conduct teaching but not be responsible for it. Responsibility for grading lies with a certified teacher.

Who are we looking for?

We are primarily looking for you with a teaching license qualified to teach in preschool class and grades 1–6 in the subjects of mathematics, Swedish, and English in primary school. Secondarily, we are looking for you who have subject knowledge at the university level in the above-mentioned subjects. It is an advantage if you have pedagogical education at the university level. We would like you to have experience in conducting teaching, preferably within primary school, and working with children/young people aged 6–12.

You have the ability to adapt teaching based on each student's prerequisites, and your lessons are characterized by clear expectations, calm, and a desire to learn. We want you to have a good ability to teach children in need of special support and the ability to support students in handling conflicts that arise. You have commitment, enthusiasm, and a genuine interest in the school world and how it is affected by the outside world.

A success factor is that you can build trust-based relationships both in and outside school. Furthermore, you are a secure pedagogical leader with the ability to critically analyze your own and the work group's methods for continuous development.

Naturally, you use digital technology in teaching and as a tool for information, planning, communication, and reporting. You organize and structure the work based on stated goals.

As a person, you are communicative, receptive, and well-versed in the ethical principles for teachers, and you have a talent for analyzing and documenting students' abilities and knowledge.

To allow us to assess your application, you must attach your degree certificate and teaching license. If there are no qualified certified teachers, you as an unqualified person can be employed on a fixed-term basis according to the Education Act. When we wish to offer you the position, it is required that you show an extract from the police record to allow us to employ you, according to regulations in Chapter 2, Sections 31–33 of the Education Act.

Start Date

We offer a temporary position starting 2026-08-18 and lasting until 2027-06-18. We call for interviews on a rolling basis.
