Qualified Teacher in Swedish and Swedish as a Second Language – Hourly Position

Your Role

We are looking for an engaged and qualified teacher in Swedish and Swedish as a Second Language who wants to teach on an hourly basis. You will teach on-site and via our digital learning platform, Canvas, where you support students with clear presentations, constructive feedback, assessment, and grading. Your most important task is to create motivation and give students the tools they need to succeed.

The courses are already structured, and you will receive an introduction to our digital systems. Students start courses several times a year and can study at their own pace (5–20 weeks).

We are looking for you who

• Have a teaching license with qualification in the subject.
• Are confident in digital teaching and familiar with using online meeting tools.
• Are curious, flexible, and passionate about meeting adult students where they are.
• Have experience from adult education (meritorious but not a requirement).
• Have an understanding of, and preferably experience with, different cultures and perhaps knowledge of languages other than Swedish.
