Pilträdsskolan is a free school with approximately 290 students, emphasizing knowledge, security, and the unique value of each student. Founded in 1994, the school provides education from preschool class (F) to grade 9, as well as after-school activities. Adjacent to the school is Pilträdets Preschool for children aged 1–5. The school is managed by Stiftelsen Källan in Västerås and is located in Vallby.

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic teacher for a temporary position (holiday cover) teaching Spanish in grades 6–9 (approx. 60%). This position can be combined with other subjects or tasks.

Your qualifications:

• University degree (Primary/Secondary School Teacher grades 4–9, Teacher for older ages, or Lower Secondary School Teacher).
• Experience working in primary/secondary schools.
• Teaching certification is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of the curriculum, course plans, Swedish National Agency for Education guidelines, and primary/secondary school operations.
• Good computer skills, as all students in grades F–9 have access to iPads.
