TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT

We are currently looking for casual replacements for sick leave and holidays for our regular assistants. As one of our regular hourly employees wishes to reduce their hours, there is also a need for a position on the schedule of approximately 60%. For this position, you can partially choose the extent and days you work, as long as you work between 5 and 8 shifts per month. This is, therefore, a perfect part-time job.

THE POSITION

We are now looking for you who can work as a personal assistant, initially during the holiday period weeks 27–32. During these weeks, the need is greater, and we will likely be able to offer you a larger number of shifts according to agreement.

This is an hourly employment.

Interviews will be held continuously. The position may be filled before the application deadline, so do not wait with your application.

If a suitable candidate is found, there may be an opportunity to work shifts in May.

ABOUT THE USER AND YOUR DUTIES

The user lives in their own apartment in Habo (the company CAB Assistans has its address in Norrahammar).

The user has their own car which you will use in your work. You should be a person with good physical fitness and be flexible in your working approach.

You must have a B-driving license and good driving experience.

You should be between 30 and 50 years old, as the user functions best with people in this age range.

There is a cat in the home, so you should not be allergic to cats.

The user lives in Habo, and it is an advantage if you live in the surrounding area. However, this is not a requirement, and great importance is placed on personal suitability and conditions for getting along with the user.

There is no requirement for previous experience as a personal assistant, but naturally, it is easier if you have understanding and insight into the profession.

You should be helpful with all daily routines and tasks. This includes personal hygiene, housework, leisure activities, and other assistance the user needs.

A driver's license for a car is a requirement.

YOU MUST BE NON-SMOKING

You should have good physical fitness and strength, as the tasks involve manual transfers of approx. 50 kg.

The user is a man of approx. 45 years old and is wheelchair-bound. The user studies at a university level and is active in club life.

You will work a number of longer shifts each week. You will also work weekend shifts.

Initially, the employment form is an hourly employment where an agreement is made on which shifts you work each month.

If you and the user click with each other, there may be an opportunity to work more regularly from the autumn onwards.

Your "workplace" is located where the user is situated.
