Bie School is a grades F-6 school with an integrated leisure-time centre (after-school program). The school is a rural school with just over 120 students located approximately 1 mile outside of Katrineholm, close to forests and nature. The outdoor learning environment is varied, and there are large areas for teaching and learning. We are proud of the students' high goal achievement and that we, together with different competencies, through varied teaching, contribute to the students' journey to the goals. The school has access to well-functioning student health teams and safety teams. Currently, work is underway to develop the recess activities and the learning environment.

Job Responsibilities

You are responsible for teaching in Physical Education and Health for grades 4–6, where you plan, conduct, and follow up on teaching that stimulates the students' joy of movement, health, and cooperation skills. You work to create varied and inclusive teaching both indoors and outdoors, focusing on the students' development based on the curriculum's goals.

The position also includes collaboration with colleagues during the school day and responsibility for planning, conducting, and developing activities in the leisure-time centre, where you contribute to a safe, meaningful, and active leisure time for the students. A key part of the assignment is to build good relationships.

Qualifications

You are a trained teacher in Leisure-Time Centre with a focus on Physical Education and Health. You have experience in planning, conducting, and following up on teaching both in PE/Health and in the leisure-time centre. You must be able to communicate well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.

You should have good collaboration skills and the ability to listen and communicate effectively. Together with your colleagues, you will collaborate to create an stimulating and safe learning environment for the students.
