Malmen Montessori in Borås is beautifully located just next to the picturesque Ramnasjön in a large, historic, and charming brick building. We are one of Sweden's largest Montessori schools, with approximately 750 children in preschool, primary school, and after-school care, and we have over 120 employees. The students are divided into mixed-age groups.

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher or preschool/youth worker (fritidspedagog) with the qualifications to teach in after-school care.

We are looking for someone with a curious approach, who is positive, responsible, flexible, and secure. You have a structured and creative way of working and are skilled at inspiring and motivating children to discover, learn, and develop.

We would appreciate it if you have experience in the profession and an interest in Montessori pedagogy. It is not a requirement to be Montessori-trained, as further education is provided internally. You will contribute to developing our operations in relation to the curriculum and our Montessori educational plan.

You stimulate each child to form themselves and grow through their tasks, offering freedom with responsibility. From this freedom, the students' independence can develop, which in turn gives self-confidence and the ability for critical examination.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

The position is a permanent full-time employment starting in August 2026. For this position, we apply the concept of a "holiday service position" (sementertjänst).

Our operations are run by a parents' association, and our main employer is a board that includes the school principal, as well as a management group. The parents are our pillars, and we value good communication with them.
