We are looking for a personal assistant interested in working pedagogically with our client. He is 25 years old and lives independently on Södermalm. He has an autism spectrum disorder and epilepsy. This means our client requires personal assistance 24/7, year-round. He needs constant active supervision. You will work in his home environment, outdoors, but also at his day activities.

As a personal assistant, you will help and support our client in all daily situations. The role involves being constantly active and creative with him. Duties include helping with meals, personal hygiene, communication, etc. Therefore, it is important to always be attentive to his well-being and adaptable to different environments.

You need to have the following qualities/interests:

• Enjoy going on outings
• Enjoy being outdoors
• Be creative and active
• Be able to remain calm in challenging situations
• Be fluent in Swedish (reading, writing, and speaking)

We are looking for someone who is:

• Capable of working with a low-affective approach
• Cooperative, as this is a double-assistance role

Previous experience working with autism and challenging behavior is a merit. A requirement is the ability to read situations and the client's well-being, and to act accordingly. You need to be in good health as he is active. In this assistance role, we strive to work with high quality and focus on the client's self-determination and independence. Clear job descriptions are available and are updated and developed together during staff meetings and supervision.

Working hours vary. Shifts are scheduled during the day, afternoon, evening, and weekends. We are looking for someone who can work 80–100 percent.
