We are currently looking for four new employees for our home care team in Fårösund.

Your Responsibilities

As a nursing assistant or home care assistant, you will work together with dedicated colleagues to provide support, motivation, and assistance to our clients, always based on their individual needs and approved care measures.

The tasks are varied and may include personal care, medical interventions performed under the delegation of licensed personnel, escorting, shopping, cleaning, and laundry.

The role includes being a care contact, meaning you are a vital link between the client, their relatives, and the organization. You are responsible for, among other things, creating and following up on implementation plans and documenting daily events. In your daily work, you collaborate with home healthcare, rehabilitation, social secretaries, and other home care teams to ensure good and secure care.

Who are you?

To be employed as a nursing assistant, you must meet the requirements for using the protected professional title according to current regulations. It is an advantage if you have worked in the care profession and/or elderly care.

If you are applying as a home care assistant, you must have completed a secondary education. It is an advantage to have some form of education focused on care and support, such as a care assistant certificate, as well as previous experience in similar roles.

A valid B-class driver's license is required.

Within the Northern Gotland home care service, we collaborate across team boundaries; therefore, we are looking for someone who is flexible and open to change. You are self-reliant and take responsibility for your tasks while also having the ability to collaborate with colleagues to create security and high quality for our users. We value that you have good judgment and can make well-founded decisions in various situations that may arise in daily work. You also have pedagogical insight and adapt your approach and communication based on the individual's needs and conditions.

It is important that you are confident in the Swedish language, both spoken and written, as all communication and documentation takes place in Swedish.
