The Hearing Care department is part of Rehab Communication, which also includes the Got-IT Resource Center, the Syncentralen, and the Interpreter Center. We have a good collaboration between the operations regarding our shared patients.

At the Hearing Care department, a wonderful team of employees with high competence and long experience works today; audiologists, social workers, vision/hearing instructors, secretaries, and technicians.

We are now looking for an audiologist colleague who wants to work with us to cover for one of our audiologists who is on parental leave.

Your responsibilities

The audiologists at the Gotland Hearing Care department work with the entire rehabilitation process, from new patient visits with hearing tests to the fitting and evaluation of hearing aids and technical aids. The work consists of both pedagogical and technical efforts.

In your daily work, you will meet adult patients of all ages with different types and degrees of hearing loss.

Who are you?

You who apply are a licensed audiologist. Knowledge and familiarity with current hearing aids according to agreement is meritorious.

You should have good knowledge of both hearing assessment and rehabilitation. Your ability to collaborate is good, and you enjoy working in a team as well as working independently.

Personal suitability is given great importance.

A background check through an extract from the criminal record register is conducted before a decision on employment is made.
