We offer a competitive salary, wellness allowance, travel allowance, and housing allowance of up to 450 SEK/day. Additionally, you can take advantage of our summer bonus:

• 4 weeks = 15,000 SEK extra, in addition to regular salary
• 8 weeks = 30,000 SEK extra, in addition to regular salary

Who Are We?

We are a wonderful and dedicated team within home healthcare, LSS (Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), and elderly care, looking for licensed nurses for the summer when our permanent staff goes on well-deserved vacation.

Home Healthcare: As a nurse in home healthcare, you provide caring medical care directly in the patient's own home, and you are part of an interdisciplinary team. A team consists of a district nurse/nurse, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, assistant nurse, home care services, and a doctor. The work is divided into three different areas that geographically cover the entire island.

Elderly Care: As a nurse in residential elderly care, you work either in a dementia care facility or a standard nursing home. We have facilities in six different locations around the island: Fårösund, Slite, Bro, Klintehamn, Roma, and Visby.

LSS: In the care of persons with disabilities, the role of a nurse is very independent and involves both emergency and planned interventions. You consult with doctors at health centers and delegate certain medical tasks to nursing staff. You have a consultative role towards the nursing staff and support them in patient care.

When you submit your application, you choose which of the above operations you are interested in a summer substitute position within.

Your Responsibilities

With us, you have an independent and varied assignment, regardless of the operation. You plan, organize, and perform qualified medical care based on the user's needs, resources, and wishes.

The role includes assessing and prioritizing health and medical care interventions, delegating and mentoring colleagues in nursing work, and providing advice to users, relatives, and staff. You collaborate with different professions and healthcare providers and document according to current routines in Treserva and Take Care.

We are flexible and always strive to adapt to your wishes regarding the period of employment and schedule, and of course, you will receive a secure and well-thought-out introduction before you start.

Who Are You?

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with at least two years of work experience as a nurse in home healthcare, special housing, or LSS. It is meritorious, but not a requirement, if you are a district nurse/specialist nurse in elderly care or psychiatric care. For jobs within home healthcare and LSS, a B-driving license is required.

As a person, we would like you to be flexible, positive, empathetic, and responsible, and enjoy working both independently and in a team. You also have good computer skills and are confident in the Swedish language and can express yourself well in both speech and writing.
