Barnhagen Preschool is a parent cooperative located in Fålhagen in central Uppsala. Our core focus is on language development and movement. We work thematically based on fairy tales, where the children's ideas turn into various projects. The children's curiosity, imagination, and creativity are given a prominent place.

We have space for approximately 27 children, divided into two departments: an older children's department (Lyan) and a younger children's department (Kulan).

Our staff consists of two preschool teachers and two childcare assistants (one of whom is currently on parental leave), as well as a resource pedagog. Our principal, Jannica, works both administratively and with the children. Three of us working at Barnhagen are certified fairy tale pedagogues.

Since we are a small team, everyone who works here is equally important. This means a fast pace and high mental presence are required.

We are now looking to strengthen our team and are seeking someone who:

• Has relevant education (childcare assistant or preschool teacher).
• Enjoys planning, evaluating, and driving the educational work forward, both individually and as part of a team.
• Values working with children's learning and development.
• Is responsible, flexible, and sees opportunities.
• Serves as a good role model for the children, is proactive, and drives the pedagogical work.
• Treats children as individuals within the group, considering each child's unique needs and competencies.
• Can collaborate, build good relationships, and is willing to join in on some of our more spontaneous adventures.

Personal suitability is central. You can be young or old, with little or extensive experience, as long as you are open to our way of working and adaptable.

Here, you will work in close collaboration with enthusiastic pedagogues, curious children, and involved parents.
