Social Secretary for Disability Services

The Social Services Department works from a holistic perspective on citizens' needs and therefore has a cohesive social services department that handles the entire mandate of social services, under the motto "We support an independent life". We work with a clear focus to create an organization with high competence and quality. An organization with user participation where the individual's needs are put at the center.

The Disability Working Group is part of the Adult and Disability Unit, Authority Division. In the unit, we also work with the target groups of elderly, harmful use and addiction, as well as domestic violence. The combination of target groups in the unit gives us good conditions to see the whole individual and work together with the individual to ensure that different interventions work together. The Disability Working Group consists of nine social secretaries and one group leader.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Social Secretary for Disability Services FO, you work with investigating, making decisions, and following up on interventions according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS). Development work is an integrated part of the job. We have close cooperation with our colleagues within the authority as well as with various parts of the implementation and Health Care, a cooperation that we both appreciate and depend on. Our mission is to meet the individual's need for interventions with the aim of contributing to increased independence based on the individual's conditions. We place great emphasis on the individual's participation. We use the investigation method IBIC. As a social secretary, you work with the business system Combine, as well as Cosmic Link, where we communicate with the Region.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have a degree from the social work program or other education assessed as equivalent. Experience in authority practice, including personal assistance, is considered meritorious. You are expected to have good knowledge of current legislation and the mandate of social services.

As a person, you are careful and independent and find it easy to handle changed conditions in work.

Since the work involves many contacts, both internally and externally, you should have good cooperation skills, be outgoing and positive. You should have good ability to express yourself in speech and writing. Great importance is attached to personal suitability. A driver's license is considered an advantage.

Interviews will be held on a rolling basis.

Salary: Monthly salary.
