Group Leader for Elderly Services – Nässjö Municipality

The Social Services Administration works from a holistic perspective on citizens' needs, maintaining a cohesive administration that handles the entire mandate of social services under the motto "We support an independent life". We work purposefully to create an organization with high competence and quality, featuring user participation where individual needs are placed at the center.

The Elderly Working Group is part of the Adult and Disability Unit, within the Authority Division. In this unit, we also work with target groups such as disabilities, harmful substance use and addiction, as well as domestic violence. The combination of target groups in the unit provides us with good conditions to see the whole individual and work together with them to ensure that different interventions collaborate effectively. The Elderly Working Group consists of ten social secretaries and one group leader.

Responsibilities

We are currently looking for a group leader for a full-time position. As a group leader, you ensure that the authority mandate is carried out with high quality, in accordance with current legal requirements and the municipality's routines and processes. You support and coordinate the social secretaries in their work of investigating and making decisions according to the Social Services Act.

We actively work to enable our elderly citizens to continue living at home. A prerequisite for this is close collaboration with our colleagues in various parts of the implementation and in Health and Care, a collaboration that we both appreciate and depend on. Our mission is to meet the individual's need for interventions with the aim of contributing to increased independence based on the individual's conditions. We place great emphasis on the individual's participation. We use the investigation method IBIC. As a social secretary, you work with the business system Combine, as well as Cosmic Link, where we communicate with the Region.

Qualifications and Merits

We are looking for you who are a social worker or have another behavioral science education that is assessed as equivalent when combined with experience. You have broad experience working within the authority functions of social services. Experience in leadership and work with the target group of the elderly is considered an advantage.

As a person, you are development- and result-oriented and have a good ability to clearly and enthusiastically set structures, convey stability, and realistic goals. You are relationship-oriented and pedagogical, and have received positive references from previous collaboration and cooperation contacts. You are analytical and solution-oriented and have a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing, which allows you to naturally create context and engagement that moves things forward.

Personal suitability is given great weight. We are looking for you who have a driver's license.
