Möckelngymnasiet is Karlskoga Municipality's upper secondary school. Approximately 900 students study at Möckelngymnasiet, and we offer 12 national upper secondary programs as well as introductory programs. The school also includes an Adapted Upper Secondary School. Our premises are bright, pleasant, and functional, and we have good access to modern technology and equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will primarily work as a Swedish/Swedish as a Second Language teacher on the Introductory Program and teach on national programs. We work extensively with individualized learning to accommodate each student's abilities and needs. There is also close cooperation with the school's other teachers, and you will be part of an engaged work team. Our teaching teams collaborate closely with student health services to create a safe and motivating learning environment for all our students. Here, you will have the opportunity to develop in your role while simultaneously motivating our students to reach as far as possible in their knowledge development based on their prerequisites.

We are looking for you who are a skilled pedagogue with the ability and desire to engage students in their language development. You have the ability to inspire colleagues in the work of developing methods and creating pedagogical adaptations.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with qualifications in Swedish/Swedish as a Second Language and at least one other subject. It is meritorious if you have experience working in primary or upper secondary school regarding students' second language acquisition. If you have knowledge and experience in language and knowledge-developing approaches, this is also seen as meritorious.

Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 6 months or longer.

To work in preschool, school, and youth/recreation activities, you must, according to the Register Control Act, provide a certificate of no criminal record from the police. You must request the certificate yourself from the National Police Board using the form "Extract from the Criminal Record Register" available in the form archive on the police website.
