Vittra Schools is one of Sweden's leading independent school companies, with 24 preschools and primary schools across the country. Together, we are responsible for approximately 8,000 children and students and employ around 1,000 staff members. We opened our first school in 1993 and have been part of AcadeMedia, Northern Europe's largest education company, since 2008. Vittra is a socially engaged preschool and primary school where children and students learn about themselves and the world. With us, conscious children and students are shaped, given the right tools and knowledge to create a better and more sustainable society. We achieve this through our unique pedagogical approach based on three pillars: conscious learning, brave culture, and clear structure.

Vittra Örebro has been a newly established school operation since August 2022, serving 150 students in grades 6–9. The school is located at Karlsgatan 30 in central Örebro. For the autumn term 2026, we are looking for a qualified German teacher for grades 6–9.

About Vittra

At Vittra, you will find an operation characterized by strong commitment, high quality, and plenty of joy. You will work in a stimulating and secure environment, building close pedagogical relationships between adults and children. At Vittra, we have high expectations of ourselves and our collaborative work, which is based on collegial learning and the individual needs of each student. Together, we build a secure and challenging environment where everyone develops according to their own prerequisites, both students and adults.

At Vittra, we believe in conscious learning, a brave culture, and teaching rooted in society, where students engage with the community outside of school in various ways. In our teaching, we weave in current social issues and explore what happens beyond the school's walls. This happens, for example, through editorial work and projects linked to local and global goals. At Vittra, it is important that students practice and learn to think for themselves, express themselves, and make a difference.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for you who are a certified and qualified teacher in German for grades 6–9, and who, together with future colleagues and new students, wants to help create a positive school culture at Vittra Örebro.

You need to be a confident and clear leader with a focus on student goal achievement. We see you as a teacher who builds your teaching on close pedagogical relationships with students and who is passionate about meeting students in their individual development based on their experiences, prior knowledge, needs, and abilities. The position includes class teacher responsibilities.

At Vittra, we strive for a cross-curricular approach that gives students a holistic view and understanding of how different subjects and reality connect. To enable such meaning-making regarding learning and development, you will belong to a working team, and it is important that you are interested in participating in and contributing to collegial learning.

What We Offer

We offer a developing work environment with many career paths. Vittra has an educational program consisting of various external courses as well as internal training, including a leadership development program for team leaders and networking meetings for lead teachers.
