Do you have a Social Work degree and several years of experience within the Child and Youth services at the Social Services Administration, and are you looking for new challenges? We are now seeking an engaged and stable Senior Social Secretary for a fixed-term temporary position.
Your new job
As a Senior Social Secretary, you will support Social Secretaries in their investigative work, assessments, and selection of interventions regarding children and young people aged 0–20. The work is carried out in a team with the unit manager and fellow Senior Social Secretaries. In addition to supporting Social Secretaries, you will work on method development, onboarding of new employees, and follow-up of work within the framework of the unit's business plan. You will keep up to date with regulations, general advice from the National Board of Health and Welfare, changes in legislation, and their application. You will collaborate with partners surrounding children and young people, both internally and externally, and you will represent the unit in court cases.
Your qualifications
You must have a Social Work degree and several years of experience in the Social Services' authority work concerning children and young people. You should have good knowledge of relevant legislation and expertise in the field. You need to be familiar with case processing and documentation, as well as have experience with the documentation system Combine and the methods MI (Motivational Interviewing), BBiC, and Signs of Safety. Previous experience as a line manager is an advantage. Experience with the methods iRiSk and SAVRY is also beneficial.
In this role, you will base your actions on the needs of the citizen and the child. As a person, you are analytical, able to identify the core of a problem, suggest possible solutions, and see connections. You use your time efficiently and work systematically, organized, and methodically, ensuring that work is completed and followed up. Furthermore, you adapt easily to changed circumstances and new information.
The position requires that you are independent, secure, and mature as a person, with a high ability to handle stress. You show respect and consideration for those we meet in our professional role and have an open and positive attitude.
The role requires good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
A Class B driver's license is a requirement for the position.

Good to know
The recruitment is for a fixed-term temporary position of 6 months as a Senior Social Secretary within Child and Youth, full-time. Start and end dates are by agreement. The placement will be at Unit 4, at our office in Kasernen.

Even if you already work for us, you need to provide degree certificates and employment certificates for positions held outside the municipality.
