Job Description

As a student assistant (amanuens), you will primarily be working with the maintenance of machines, laboratories, and workshops in Eskilstuna during the summer months.

The work may also include planning, restructuring, and designing lab and workshop environments. If needed, supervising students may also be part of the duties.

Qualifications/Requirements

Only those admitted to undergraduate or advanced level studies at MDU can be employed as student assistants. Employment as a student assistant is regulated in the Higher Education Ordinance Chapter 5, Sections 8-12.

Requirements for the position:

• Student in an engineering program at the Department of Engineering Sciences (ITV)
• Qualified to work in the relevant labs and workshops
• Completed courses totaling at least 90 higher education credits
• Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish

Merits:

• be able to work independently and take responsibility for your tasks
• be proactive and contribute to the development of the operations
