Then you might be the person we are looking for as a Business Developer at Science Park in Vaggeryd and Habo.

Science Park Jönköping County works for a stronger and more sustainable business community in our region. We support entrepreneurs, startups, and established companies in developing new ideas, innovations, and businesses that create value for both people and society. Science Park's main stakeholders are the county's 13 municipalities, Jönköping University, and Region Jönköping County. Together, we play an important role in the regional innovation system.

This position is linked to the mission to renew the business community in Vaggeryd and Habo municipalities. This means you will have a varied job with a strong focus on business development, people, and networking.

In the role of Business Developer, you will among other things:

• Meet people with business ideas, help them develop these ideas, and coach them towards a successful business launch.
• Plan and conduct activities and workshops that inspire and spread knowledge about entrepreneurship, innovation, and digital development.
• Actively work to develop Science Park's community by networking with and connecting our target groups in various types of activities in Habo and Vaggeryd.
• Act as Science Park's local ambassador and highlight our offerings.
• Collaborate with business, municipalities, and other actors in the innovation system.

We are looking for you who:

• Have experience in business development and some form of development journey within a company, as an employee or in your own business.
• Are communicative and fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Have experience coaching people and/or businesses and are driven by seeing them develop and grow.

It is an advantage if you also have:

• A university degree or other post-secondary education.
• An interest in technology and digital solutions.
• Experience in building structure and developing processes that facilitate an efficient and organized way of working.
• Experience in developing sustainable solutions with a clear target group or market in focus.

About the position

• Scope: 100% (parental leave substitute)
• Period: August 2026 – November 2027
• Location: Vaggeryd and Habo, collaborating in the Science Park mission.
• Evening activities may occur in connection with events and networking.
