Responsibilities

Teaching will primarily take place in the courses Tradition and Development, Materials and Environment, Technical Drawing, and Design. You need to have a holistic view of the entire education and very good knowledge of the program's structure and future development.

You will teach within the Textile Design Programme and the Crafts subjects, which include:

• Sewing: detail sewing and pressing techniques.
• Pattern drafting: basic patterns, measuring, and construction based on personal measurements.
• Fashion illustration: figure & garment sketches, design themes, and collection assignments as well as various drawing techniques.
• Material science: properties of fabrics and textile fibers & qualities.

The course includes students working on design assignments, from idea to finished product. You will work in close collaboration with a subject colleague.

Qualifications

Qualified vocational teacher with a specialization in Textile Design and high competence in digital techniques.
