About the assignment:

We are looking for a relief caregiver for a boy with significant support needs and lots of energy. He finds it difficult to stay still during activities. He does not communicate verbally but can make certain sounds and say a few words. He loves being outdoors in the garden, jumping on a trampoline, swinging, and playing. He enjoys doing puzzles at a younger age level but is super skilled with the alphabet.

The relief care takes place in the home or on the property one weekday afternoon per week. There may also be opportunities for weekend assignments of 2–4 hours per occasion.

Your qualifications:

• A young man or woman with good physical fitness who enjoys playing and being active.
• Experience with NPD (Neurodevelopmental Disorders) diagnoses and low-affective handling is a plus.

About the position:

Hours: 13 hours/month. Start date: ASAP.

As a relief caregiver, you relieve relatives, for example parents of a child with a disability, in the home or nearby area. This might allow parents some personal time with other siblings or simply to rest.

According to the Act on Register Control and God Omsorg’s policy, anyone working with minors must present an extract from the police’s criminal and suspicion register before employment.
