Class Teacher for Karinslundsskolan, Strängnäs Municipality

Karinslundsskolan is a small school with 120 students. We have large, bright premises and a lovely schoolyard. Here, the conditions for play and learning are excellent. Currently, 16 staff members work at the school, of whom 8 are teachers. Our high staff density allows us to work with multi-teacher collaboration and organize teaching to give all students the best possible conditions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will have class teacher responsibility for a class in the school's lower primary stage (grades F-3). You will teach Swedish, Mathematics, English, Natural Science, Social Science, and Visual Arts. You will organize learning based on regular result follow-ups.

The position includes mentorship responsibilities and development conferences.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have/are:

• Teacher certification for teaching in grades F-3
• Experience in teaching
• Experience in mentorship roles
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing
• Proficient in using IT as a support in work and teaching

We consider the following to be meritorious:

• Experience working with accessible teaching
• Education in reading and writing development
• Valid driver's license (Category B)
