We are now looking for a coach for our team at KomBack!

Are you a relationship builder who is good at motivating others? At KomBack, we work with young people who are somewhere between having high school absenteeism and being on their way to a functioning employment.

We are responsible for the Municipal Activity Responsibility (KAA), and the operation is part of the Central Student Health Service organization. As a municipality, we have activity responsibility for young people who have completed their compulsory schooling but have not yet turned 20, and who have not completed upper secondary school, adapted upper secondary school, or equivalent education.

An important part of the role is to work motivationally. You will also act as the "spider in the web" regarding contacts with various authorities such as schools, social services, the Swedish Public Employment Service, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, the labor market unit, the business community, and healthcare. The work also involves developing and trying out new working methods and approaches to meet young people's needs and provide them with the right support.

We work salutogenically, focusing on what promotes health. Some young people have some form of mental ill-health or other social challenges.

We help with, among other things:

• motivating for studies
• internships
• job hunting
• support to existing schools
• creating routines
• training social skills

Depending on where in life the young person is, our work looks different. The young person is at the center, and the most important thing is to challenge them in the right direction and pace to help them grow in different areas. We support young people who need extra help, for example by organizing group activities that strengthen motivation and social development.

Your tasks include, for example:

• administration and documentation in various computer systems
• producing and registering information about young people's employment
• contacting young people, booking individual meetings, and offering suitable interventions
• documenting in individual action plans

To be suitable for the position, you need to be secure in yourself and have an easy time adapting to different situations. You are receptive and collaborate smoothly with others, while also being able to work independently and take initiative. With an inclusive approach, you meet young people based on their needs and create trust through clear communication. You actively contribute to the development of both the young people and the organization.

You work primarily during daytime hours, but evening work may occur if needed.

Qualifications

• Education as a social pedagogue or treatment pedagogue.
• Category B driver's license for manual transmission.
• Experience of similar work with young people.
• Courses in motivational work are meritorious.
• We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
