About the position

Personal assistance is a support measure under the LSS Act (Law on Support and Service for Certain Disability Groups). In your role as a personal assistant, you will primarily help the client with everyday occurrences and basic needs. Your work involves safeguarding the client's self-determination and integrity, contributing to a smooth daily routine. Each assistance assignment is uniquely adapted to the client's life, so tasks may vary depending on the workplace.

We are looking for you who are child-loving and have your heart in the right place. It is important that you are sensitive and have the ability to put yourself in others' situations and perspectives, for example, to adapt play and activities to the boy's mood of the day. You have a positive attitude and see opportunities instead of obstacles.

The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for you who are sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you and the client, as well as that you enjoy working evenings and nights.

Requirements for the position:

• willing to work for a 5-year-old boy living in Huskvarna with his family

• good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

• understand English or Kurdish

• have experience working in care and/or as a personal assistant

• are a non-smoker

• willing to work with other colleagues as it is a double-assistance role

Merits for the position:

• experience in similar work

• experience with tube feeding, suctioning, and inhalations.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment degree, and salary

The current form of employment is "hourly employment," which means work on demand with varying working hours on weekdays and weekends during the evening 15-22 or night 22-07 (active night). Planned shifts during the summer will be available with immediate start, but we are looking for someone who wants to be part of this assistance on a long-term basis.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other benefits are paid according to the collective agreement.
