Vittra Schools is one of Sweden's leading independent school companies, with 24 preschools and primary schools across the country. Together, we are responsible for approximately 8,000 children and students and employ around 1,000 staff members. We opened our first school in 1993 and have been part of AcadeMedia, the largest education company in the Nordics, since 2008. Vittra is a socially engaged preschool and primary school where children and students learn about themselves and the world. With us, conscious children and students are formed, equipped with the right tools and knowledge to create a better and more sustainable society. We achieve this through our unique pedagogical approach based on three pillars: conscious learning, courageous culture, and clear structure.
Since August 2022, Vittra Örebro has been a newly established school operation for 150 students distributed across grades 6–9. The school is located at Karlsgatan 30, centrally in Örebro. For the academic year 2026–27, we are seeking a qualified Science and Mathematics teacher for grades 6–9.
About Vittra
At Vittra, you will encounter an operation characterized by strong commitment, high quality, and plenty of joy. You will work in a stimulating and secure environment, fostering close pedagogical relationships between adults and children. At Vittra, we have high expectations of ourselves and our collaborative work, which is based on collegial learning and the individual needs of each student. Together, we build a secure and challenging environment where everyone develops according to their own prerequisites, both students and adults.
At Vittra, we believe in conscious learning, a courageous culture, and education rooted in society, where students engage with the community outside of school in various ways. In our teaching, we weave in current societal issues and explore what happens beyond the school walls. This includes connections to local and global goals. It is important to us that students practice and learn to think independently and express themselves, becoming more aware of their own learning and development.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for you who are a certified and qualified teacher in Science (NO) and Mathematics for grades 6–9, and who, together with future colleagues and new students, wants to help create a positive school culture at Vittra Örebro.

We see you as a teacher who builds your instruction on close pedagogical relationships with students and who is passionate about meeting students in their individual development based on their experiences, prior knowledge, needs, and abilities. At Vittra, we strive for a cross-curricular approach that gives students a holistic view and understanding of how different subjects and reality are connected. To enable such meaning-making regarding learning and development, you will belong to a work team, and it is important that you are interested in participating in and contributing to collegial learning.
What We Offer
