Personal assistance is a support measure under the LSS Act (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Functionally Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Every customer is unique, and your tasks will vary based on their specific needs. You will uphold the customer's self-determination and privacy, contributing to a smooth daily life.

About the role

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and identify what needs to be done.

We are currently looking for you who:

• want to work for a man in his 30s living in Upplands Väsby
• have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• are experienced in handling patient transfers
• have experience in similar work, but most importantly, have good personal chemistry

Working hours, employment percentage, and salary:

The current employment type is a summer temporary position spanning from June 1st to September 1st. The role involves working with varying hours during evenings and/or nights.

Position 1: Temporary position, 11 hours/week (June 1–September 1) every other Friday (between 19:00–09:00) and every Sunday between 20:00–08:00, including six hours of on-call duty (00:00–06:00).

Position 2: During the summer period (June 22–August 9), shifts vary across different days of the week, including night shifts with on-call duty.

Fixed hourly wage by agreement, and other benefits are paid according to the collective agreement.

Start date: Immediately or by agreement.
