Sundsvall District Court is a medium-sized court that shares management and premises with the Rent and Tenancy Tribunal in Sundsvall and the Legal Aid Authority. In total, we have around 50 employees.

About the role
As a Registrar, you play a central role in the court's daily work. You belong to the administrative unit and, together with a colleague Registrar, are responsible for the court's registry. At the same time, you also work with the processing of cases and matters and have close cooperation with the court case handlers. In addition to this, you will be assigned certain administrative tasks. The work is varied, social, and requires both structure and flexibility – perfect for you who thrive in a dynamic environment.
Main responsibilities
The responsibilities include among other things:
- Registration of cases and matters
- Processing of cases and matters
- Responsibility for the Registrar's email box
- Responsibility for archiving
- Release of public documents
- Registration in the administrative diary
- Publishing on internal and external websites
- Permission management
- Daily contact with parties, representatives, authorities, and the public
About you
In the role of Registrar, you are meticulous, independent, and deliver high-quality work. Since your role involves many varied tasks and often tasks that must be solved under time pressure, you have a strong ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Your communicative and cooperative personality ensures that you treat people professionally and build good relationships. You are solution-oriented, independent, and enjoy responsibility, while contributing to the work group's common goals.
To be considered for employment, you must meet high demands regarding judgment, security awareness, and suitability. This means you stand up for democratic values and the state values that govern the operations of the Swedish Courts. We require that you follow current laws.
Great importance is attached to your personal qualities.
Requirements
- Completed and approved upper secondary education
- Good computer skills, including the Office package and other document management systems
- Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English
Merits
- Post-secondary education relevant to the work, e.g., Paralegal education or other legal case handler education.
- At least two to three years of experience working as a court case handler at a district court.
- Experience with the systems relevant for the position, e.g., Vera and Diba.

Practical information
The employment is for a permanent position that may begin with a six-month probationary period. Start date is as soon as possible.
