Åtorp School is a B-form school located in Åtorp outside Degerfors. Åtorp has approximately 60 students distributed across four classes: F (preschool class), 1-2, 3-4, and 5-6.

Degerfors is a children's rights municipality, where Åtorp School is at the forefront. We also have ongoing development work based on "Reading Power" (Läskraft), focusing on reading motivation under the guidance of a lead teacher.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The role involves working as a music teacher in all classes at the school. You will become part of a good work team where drive and engagement are in focus, and where you are expected to drive school development together with colleagues and meet the students in the best way possible in collaboration with colleagues and guardians.

You will plan and develop the operations both individually and together with colleagues to provide students with meaningful, well-structured, and varied teaching. The teaching should be followed up systematically both individually and together with colleagues based on the systematic quality work that is ongoing throughout the school year.

The job requires that you have good cooperation skills and experience of working in work teams. A good approach is also important towards students, guardians, and employees. You should have structure and order in your way of working. We would like you to be flexible, outgoing, and that you work with your own initiative for the continued development of the operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

Teacher certification is required, and we would prefer full qualification for years F-6 in music. You are well acquainted with the steering documents and have good experience documenting and handling ICT tools. You see the strength in working in a work team and are an experienced leader in the classroom. You take great responsibility for the whole of the assignment and have a good approach based on values and view of the student. You have the ability to work both independently and in collaboration with colleagues both in the work team and at the whole school.
