Planning Pedagogue for Askersund Municipality

Askersund Municipality currently consists of 12 preschools spread across the localities of Zinkgruvan, Åmmeberg, Olshammar, Hammar, Snavlunda, Åsbro, Rönneshytta, and Askersund. We have a preschool organization consisting of three principals who collaborate closely to work equitably in all of Askersund Municipality's preschools. The preschools in the municipality are divided into three areas where the principals are responsible for their respective areas. We have our own child health team consisting of two special needs educators and have good cooperation with IFO (Individual and Family Care) as well as BVC (Child Health Center), which includes regular meetings.

Since the start of the spring semester in 2023, we have employed two planning pedagogues who visit the preschools regularly to relieve the pedagogues on the units so they can plan and reflect together.

We are a municipality under growth where we are looking for you who want to be part of developing the municipality's preschool operations.

There are good commuting opportunities from Örebro and other nearby localities.

Job Responsibilities

Are you one of two pedagogues who wish to take on this important assignment?

You will work together with a colleague in a children's group when the regular staff has planning time. The assignment covers work at all of the municipality's preschools. You will base your work from a shared workplace in central Askersund, where you will also independently plan and organize your work.

We are looking for you who have experience, commitment, courage, and a desire to be part of creating something new. The position also includes documentation and term follow-up.

Since the work involves moving between different preschools, a B-driver's license and access to a car are required. We expect you to be able to work both independently and in a team, and that you are flexible and confident in your professional role. Great importance is placed on your social skills and your sense of responsibility, as relationship-building is one of the most important parts of the assignment.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed preschool teacher, have long experience as a childcare worker, are a special needs educator with an interest in practical work, or have other education/experience assessed as equivalent.

Great importance is attached to personal suitability. A B-driver's license is a requirement. We would like our employees to reflect the diversity of society.

Salary form: Monthly salary.
