Senior Social Secretary for the Adult Unit in Habo Municipality

In Habo Municipality, we aim to create the conditions for people to live an independent and sustainable life. We are now looking for a Senior Social Secretary who wants to contribute to the development of our work within the Adult Unit.

The Adult Unit is part of the Social Services Administration's Individual and Family Care (IFO), which is organizationally divided into four units; Children and Youth, Outpatient Care, the Authority Unit for Care and Support, and the Adult Unit.

This is a new position, which means that the assignment will be developed and shaped in more detail in close collaboration with the unit manager. You will therefore have an important role in influencing content, working methods, and structure based on the needs of the operations.

The unit consists of 10 employees who work with administration, budget and debt counseling, integration, economic assistance, harmful use and addiction, violence in close relationships, and labor market measures.

As a Senior Social Secretary, you have an important role in the daily work. You support the staff, create structure, and contribute to quality, development, and a good working climate.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily work
• Support staff in case processing and methodological issues
• Contribute to quality and legal certainty in operations
• Follow up and develop working methods and results
• Promote a good working environment and collaboration

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have:

• A degree in Social Work or equivalent education
• Experience in authority exercises within social services
• Good knowledge of the Social Services Act

Experience in leadership or within any of the unit's areas is an advantage.
