As an employee at Gislaved Municipality, you are a co-creator at your workplace. The role involves working with students in the Adapted Primary School. Your task is to support and stimulate individual students or groups of students during their school day. You shall provide support and stimulation based on the students' specific prerequisites, abilities, and needs, while promoting development and independence. You collaborate with other staff members regarding the students. You are clear in your pedagogical role and have the ability to provide support and compensation for the students' disabilities. The work includes, for example, accompanying students on swimming and sports activities.

Work at the after-school center during mornings/evenings and holidays is included in the position.

Qualifications

We are looking for a confident support educator who can be flexible in their thinking and always keep the student in focus. Knowledge of intellectual disability, autism spectrum, and low-affective approach is advantageous.

Knowledge of In-print, AKK (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), TSS, and IT support.

The position is appointed subject to necessary decisions being made and may be extended if necessary.

Selection will take place on an ongoing basis.
