Are you interested in working in a politically governed organization and taking on a responsible role as a Committee Secretary? The Child and Education Administration is now looking for a new employee for this position.
In the role of Committee Secretary, you will collaborate closely with the administration's management and our case handlers. You will work with committee administrative tasks towards the Child and Education Committee. You will provide support to civil servants and the committee's politicians.
This means that you will investigate and prepare various cases, draw up summons, write minutes, compile and quality-check decision materials, plan meetings, prepare cases in the municipality's joint document and case management system Lex, as well as dispatch decisions. You are responsible for keeping all parts of the committee process together and having an overview of the administrative tasks related to the school office. You will also be responsible for the registration (diarization) of public documents, archiving, personal data processing/GDPR, and information security. The role also includes monitoring municipality-wide committee management issues and participating in relevant networks. The assignment may be supplemented with other assignments that support both the committee's and the office's operations and goals.
You must be a proficient computer user and interested in digital tools, as well as have the ability to support employees in digital working methods in a pedagogical manner. The work involves many parts, and you need to have the ability to familiarize yourself with current laws and regulations, create structure, prioritize tasks, and drive processes forward. You must be able to express yourself well and understandably and make assessments and compilations of material. In your interactions, you are service-oriented, appreciate contacts, and find it easy to both collaborate and guide others. As a person, you see opportunities for development and improvement.
We are looking for someone who has:
- A relevant university degree with a focus on political science, social studies, law, or equivalent education assessed by the employer as equivalent.
- Good knowledge of the Local Government Act, the Administrative Procedure Act, and the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act, as well as it being meritorious if you have knowledge of school legislation.
- You should also have experience from public sector work and/or politically governed organizations, and preferably have worked as a Committee Secretary or similar.
- Good written language skills.
- Ability and experience to handle varied work content and intensity, and thus handle flexibility and dynamism in tasks.
- Thrives in a service-oriented administrative role where you take responsibility for your tasks and structure, prioritize, and drive your work yourself.
We would prefer that you have worked in the public sector and have experience with investigative assignments in the public sector, preferably towards preschool and school. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and your ability to collaborate.

For some positions, a security clearance may be conducted in accordance with current regulations. If the position is subject to security clearance, you are required to undergo and pass this. For a few security-cleared positions, in addition to the requirement of a passed security clearance, Swedish citizenship may also be required.
