We are now looking for even more housing support staff and educators to join our team at Östra Ve & Klockargården's LSS group homes, with immediate effect. We offer training and a developing job where you make a difference!

The position is a summer temporary assignment of up to 100% for approximately 8 weeks or more, with great opportunities for continued work as an hourly substitute and/or permanent employment. Experience in low-affective and pedagogical work is particularly advantageous. If you have any of the following educations, this is also seen as particularly interesting; support educator, treatment educator, or assistant nurse. A driver's license is required as we are located in the countryside and often need to drive.

About our two operations Just north of Lake Panken, approx. 2.5 miles from Karlstad and 2 miles from Kristinehamn in Väse Värmland, lie the newly built group homes of Östra Ve and Klockargården. The operations each have six apartments and are located in a rural environment with the forest as the nearest neighbor. The operations primarily target individuals within the autism spectrum, but experience in psychiatry is advantageous as this is a natural part of our work.

Bus connections to Karlstad or Kristinehamn run approx. once an hour, and the bus stops approximately 100 meters from Klockargården.

The people living in the group homes have approved decisions under LSS Section 9, housing with special support. We are today a work team of 17 permanent employees (including the operations manager) distributed across both our operations. Since Östra Ve is a newly started operation and is located in close proximity to Klockargården, several employees work at both Klockargården and Östra Ve.

About the role In the role of housing support staff, you base your work on the residents' individual needs and wishes and provide support in daily life from a pedagogical approach. Together with other staff, you work to ensure that the residents achieve a meaningful and content-rich day. You support and guide with, among other things, personal care, meal preparation, medication management, cleaning, building and/or maintaining networks, and communication support. An important part of the work can also be to stimulate and motivate the resident to develop their abilities and to create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your duties also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. Working hours are scheduled during the day, evenings, weekends, and sleeping on-call.

You have an operations manager close by who spends part of their time working in the operation. This can also be a future career opportunity for you.

Your experience and knowledge You who apply have a high school education in care and nursing (assistant nurse) or other equivalent education, e.g., social, support, or treatment educator. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, good computer skills, and experience with documentation. It is advantageous if you have experience working with person group 1, or target groups within the autism spectrum, intellectual disability, psychosis issues, and psychiatric conditions.

Otherwise, your CV is not the most important thing. If you have the right qualities and basic care education, we will give you support and the opportunity to grow. You need to have a B-driver's license to work in our operation as several tasks involve traveling with the operation vehicle to activities.
