Description

Work with students in Special Primary School. Your task is to support and stimulate individual students during their school day. You shall provide support and stimulation based on the students' specific prerequisites, abilities, and needs, as well as promote development and independence. You collaborate with other staff regarding the students. You are clear in your work and have the ability to provide support and compensation for the students' disabilities. The work includes, for example, accompanying students to swimming and sports.

Work at the leisure center in the mornings/evenings and during school holidays is included in the position.

Qualifications

We are looking for a confident person who can think flexibly and always keep the student in focus. Knowledge of intellectual disability, autism spectrum, and low-affective handling is advantageous.

Knowledge of In-print, AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), TSS, and IT support is advantageous.

The position is appointed subject to necessary decisions being made and may be extended if needed.

Selection will take place on an ongoing basis.

We apply register checks (extracts from the criminal record) as a form of suitability assessment for all offered employment in operations where there is direct and regular contact with children and young people.

At Gislaved Municipality, full-time employment is a right, and therefore vacant positions are advertised as full-time. Part-time is of course an option when the operations can accommodate it.
