Personal assistance is a service under LSS (The Support and Service Act for Certain Functionally Disabled People). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to people who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Every client is unique, and your tasks will vary depending on the client's needs. You value the client's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to making daily life run smoothly.

About the role

The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for you who are sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for you who match the following:

• Want to work for a 64-year-old woman living in Åkersberga
• Have previous experience working in healthcare
• Have good physical fitness to perform heavy lifting
• Are comfortable around pets
• Have good knowledge of Swedish
• Hold a valid B-driver's license to travel to the client

It is also meritorious if you:

• Have experience with MS (Multiple Sclerosis)
• Have experience with diabetes

Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment degree, and salary:

The employment type is a summer temporary position with an employment degree of approx. 63%. The role involves a head start where you begin working Saturday shifts immediately, while the full summer schedule starts on June 29, 2026.

Working hours:

• Immediate start (from now):
  • Saturdays: 09:00–16:00
• During the summer period (2026-06-29 to 2026-08-09) the following are added:
  • Tuesdays: 08:00–19:00
  • Wednesdays: 08:00–17:00
  • Sundays: 09:00–15:00 (every other week)

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other benefits are paid according to the collective agreement.

Start date: 2026-06-29 – 2026-08-09

Being employed at Humana
