About the department/group

We are now looking for a controller with a focus on property projects. As a controller, you will belong to the Controller Group within the Economic Department of the Support Services, but you will have close collaboration with the Property Department. The Controller Group currently consists of eleven employees, two of whom have a focus on property economics. The group supports and coordinates KTH's financial management, which includes budgeting, follow-up, management of internal models for cost allocation, and coordination of KTH-wide projects.

Responsibilities

The position is primarily focused on supporting project managers in the Property Department. This involves responsibility for supporting budgeting, follow-up, and analysis of property projects. You will ensure cost control and variance analysis, continuous follow-up of investment calculations and the economic status of projects, and contribute to the planning and follow-up of the entire investment portfolio within the Property area. You will also participate in the development and improvement of working methods, routines, and economic models for property projects. Other tasks common within the Controller Group are also included.

Requirements

• University degree in Economics, Higher Education in Economics, Property Economics, or working experience that the authority considers equivalent.
• Experience in project follow-up.
• Very good knowledge of Excel and financial systems.

You are development-oriented and service-minded. As a leader, you have a coaching approach with the ability to lead and motivate others to achieve common goals.
