Sheet Metal Work at Werksta Norrtälje – Professional and Efficient Work

As a sheet metal worker with us, you are responsible for repairing and restoring car bodies and sheet metal parts on passenger and transport vehicles according to the manufacturer's and workshop's requirements. You work in modern facilities with good tool access and in close collaboration with painters, damage assessors, and service advisors to ensure a smooth and quality-assured workflow.

Tasks – Sheet Metal Work, Refurbishment, and Documentation
  • Perform sheet metal repairs: hammering, straightening, welding, riveting, and sheet metal reconstruction

  • Insulate, shape, and install sheet metal parts, as well as adapt newly manufactured panels

  • Collaborate with the paint shop and damage assessment for evaluation, planning, and work orders

  • Quality control of completed work and ensure that repaired vehicles meet safety and aesthetic requirements

  • Document work in the workshop system and follow up on schedules

  • Contribute to a safe working environment by following routines and keeping the workshop tidy

Requirements & Desired Qualifications
  • Education in vehicle technology/sheet metal work or equivalent work experience

  • Experience with sheet metal work on passenger or transport vehicles, including welding and assembly

  • Knowledge of modern repair methods and the workshop's safety requirements

  • Meticulous, quality-conscious, and solution-oriented

  • Ability to collaborate in a team and work independently

  • Category B driver's license is an advantage or a requirement depending on the scope of the position

  • Swedish language skills (spoken and written) are required

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a 6-month probation period. Start date according to agreement.
