About the role

Academic Work is currently recruiting, on behalf of our client, an administrator for purchasing in Örnsköldsvik. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring that purchasing processes run smoothly and efficiently. You will work closely with the purchasing team and provide administrative support to optimize workflows and supplier relationships. This role is ideal for you if you thrive in a structured, service-oriented function where attention to detail and collaboration are prioritized.

We appreciate that you are computer literate and comfortable working in various systems. Previous experience in administrative tasks or some understanding of purchasing work is advantageous – but most importantly, you have the right drive, curiosity, and willingness to learn. Are you at the beginning of your career, perhaps a recent graduate or junior professional, but with great engagement and a strong desire to grow within purchasing? We are looking for you who

• Have completed a university/college education in purchasing, economics, or another direction deemed relevant for the role
• Have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Have experience in administrative work
• Are computer literate and have knowledge of the MS Office suite

It is an advantage if you have

• Live/have connections to Örnsköldsvik, or alternatively see weekly commuting as a viable option
• Experience with purchasing systems (e.g., SAP, Visma)
• Experience working with a purchasing department
