The security work is based on Försäkringskassan's security management system, which the Security Business Area is responsible for developing and maintaining. The scope of the Security Business Area includes, among other things, security protection, information security, crisis preparedness, sectoral responsibility, and incident management.

Information Security, AI-Driven Security Risks, and the Cyber Security Act

All employees within the Security Business Area have a primary focus within one of our areas of responsibility. As an Information Security Expert, you will be part of the Strategic Security area. The role is primarily focused on work within the information security domain, but you will also work with other tasks within the security area, such as physical security protection.

As an Information Security Expert, you are expected to participate in the systematic information security work at the agency and help develop the protection of Sweden's security, for example regarding AI or the Cyber Security Act. You will play an active role in further developing the work and the security management system together with your colleagues. You are responsible for identifying development needs, preparing and presenting materials, and participating in or leading your own projects.

You have extensive experience in systematic information security work and good knowledge of current and upcoming legislation and regulations within information security and related areas of security. You are expected to share your knowledge internally and externally, as the role involves many contact points and collaborations both within and outside the agency. To fit the role, you need to be self-reliant with a good ability to interpret, evaluate, and handle complex and sensitive information, and from that, make selections and prioritizations based on risk and governance. We are looking for you who

• have a relevant university degree or experience and qualifications that can be assessed as equivalent
• have several years of experience working with information security and very good knowledge of the laws and regulations governing the area
• act on your own initiative and take responsibility for achieving good results
• are confident and trustworthy, even in stressful situations
• can understand and analyze complex issues
• collaborate effectively with others to achieve common goals
• have good communication skills, both verbal and written.

It is meritorious if you have

• a few years of work experience from the security area at a civil authority
• formal education in information security, for example via vocational higher education (YH)
• documented experience working with AI-related security issues
• documented experience working with the Cyber Security Act or alternatively NIS/DORA
• documented experience working with requirements setting for suppliers regarding security or preparedness.

Other Information

One position, permanent, full-time, with start date as agreed. Probationary period may apply. Some positions with us involve participation in security-sensitive operations. To be employed in such a position, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) is required.

In accordance with Försäkringskassan's security guidelines, background checks are conducted in this recruitment. Swedish citizenship is required for this position. The occupational role for the position is Business Developer. Travel in the role occurs. In this recruitment, work psychological tests may be used as part of the selection process.
