High School Teacher in Biology/Technology – Do you want to take responsibility for advanced education already in primary school?

Unique advanced position at Europaskolan Rogge (grades 7–9)

We are primarily looking for the right person – a teacher with deep subject knowledge, pedagogical sharpness, and a professional commitment to students' knowledge development. Formal title and background are important, but what matters most is your ability to drive high-level teaching and take clear subject responsibility.

After many years, our current advanced teacher is moving on to new assignments. Therefore, we are now looking for you who want to take over, manage, and further develop an established advanced education in biology and technology at Europaskolan Rogge.

This is not a new or untested initiative – but a well-functioning advanced program with clear structure, high ambitions, and very good results.

Teaching at a level close to upper secondary school – with ambitious students

Our advanced education in mathematics and Natural Sciences (NO) is approved and has been running since grade 7. The students:

  • work at a high pace and with high knowledge requirements
  • encounter in-depth modules that partially correspond to upper secondary school level
  • work systematically with laboratory work, analysis, and problem-solving
  • participate in Natural Sciences competitions such as Sigma8

As a teacher, you are empowered to teach the subject in depth, fully utilize your subject expertise, and build a clear line from basic concepts to advanced reasoning.

The position is suitable for you if you are a high school teacher and want to

  • work more focused on teaching and subject development
  • meet students who want to be challenged and take responsibility for their learning
  • use upper secondary school working methods in an environment with study motivation and study peace
  • build a head start for upper secondary school rather than repairing gaps later
  • thrive with engaged students who want more

We welcome different backgrounds – the important thing is that you can handle and enjoy teaching at an advanced level, are confident in your role, and want to take responsibility for a qualified teaching assignment.

About the position

  • Advanced teaching in biology and technology (grades 7–9)
  • Can be combined with teaching in regular Natural Sciences groups
  • Scope and content are shaped based on your competence
  • Access to modern Natural Sciences facilities, including a newly renovated chemistry lab
  • A clear role in the school's continued development of the advanced program

Why Europaskolan Rogge?

  • One of the few primary schools in the country with two permanent advanced educations
  • Clear knowledge profile and documented good results
  • Colleagues with high professionalism and strong subject culture
  • Students with drive, focus, and ambition
  • An organization where teaching quality is truly prioritized
