Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for a positive, engaged teacher who wants to drive our pedagogical development forward and who sees opportunities even when things are difficult. In our development work, we focus on student-active and formative working methods, as well as reflective learning. We believe you find it easy to create relationships with others and that you enjoy working together in teams and inspiring and being inspired by your colleagues in the work group.

You enjoy working closely with students, and active mentorship is important to you. As a mentor, you stimulate students' curiosity and development towards safe, responsible individuals, and actively work to prevent bullying and offensive behavior. As support in this work, you have the school's student health team and the school's equal treatment group.

Using digital tools is a natural part of your teaching profession, and you strive to develop your own and, above all, the students' digital competence in your daily lives. Since both you and the students have personal digital tools, and there is a projector in every classroom, there are opportunities to use modern pedagogy where technology supports students' learning.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a qualified primary school teacher with subject eligibility in textile crafts or in the entire craft subject. The position is located at Dalslund grades 7-9 with teaching in the lower secondary school. There may also be teaching in grade 3. You possess adequate knowledge in the use of digital tools and are interested in working with student-active teaching strategies.

You should have your heart in the right place, show a professional attitude, and be flexible and responsive to both children and parents. You should be able to use a solution-focused approach and have the ability to bring out the trust of students and parents. We place great value on your engagement, your pedagogical competence, and your ability to create good relationships. The psychosocial working environment should be built on openness, collaboration, and curiosity.
