About the RoleAs a Payroll Specialist here, you will be based at our office in Solna and work closely with another payroll specialist. Together, you will be responsible for ensuring correct, efficient, and statutory-compliant payroll administration for the company's employees. The role contributes to trust, regulatory compliance, and a professional employee experience, while supporting managers and HR with payroll-related matters.
Main Responsibilities- Independently responsible for the entire payroll process
- Collection and verification of payroll data
- Calculation of salaries, allowances, and deductions
- Salary disbursement
Ensure correct handling of:
- Sick leave, parental leave, vacation, and overtime
- Bonuses, commissions, and other variable compensations
Execute payroll runs according to established schedules and routines. Ensure that payroll administration complies with laws and regulatory requirements, collective agreements, as well as internal policies and decisions.
Handle reporting to authorities (e.g., tax, pension, insurance) and act as a contact person for external parties such as payroll providers, pension and insurance companies, and auditors.
Provide support and advice to managers and employees regarding payroll matters, agreements, compensations, and absence. Contribute to payroll reviews and annual processes together with HR.
You will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and efficiency improvement of payroll processes. You will work on ensuring documented routines and working methods with a strong focus on integration work during acquisitions, including mapping and harmonizing payroll processes, as well as transitioning to common systems and structures.
We are looking for someone with- Post-secondary education in payroll or equivalent experience
- Several years of experience in independent payroll administration
- Very good knowledge of Agda, as well as experience with HR systems and MS Office
- Good knowledge of collective agreements, labor law, tax, and social insurance
- Very good command of Swedish (written and spoken) and a valid driver's license (Category B)
- Collective agreement terms for white-collar workers
